I don't know my birth hour. What then?▼

Choose "hour unknown". The chart is then cast from the day pillar, and the hour pillar does not contribute to the five-element weighting. Everything else — the year pillar, month pillar, element balance, Ten Gods and decade cycles — is unaffected. The reading will say so, and the free chapters are unaffected in quality.

What am I actually paying for?▼

Two different things. The calculation is exact and reproducible: the year pillar switching at the exact moment of Beginning of Spring, the month following the twenty-four solar terms, the day pillar derived from the Julian day, the first decade's start age converted from the distance to the nearest solar term. Anyone can check that arithmetic. The interpretation is where the tradition lives — several thousand years of accumulated symbolic meaning, read through your chart and your hexagram. That layer is what you are buying.

Do I need to believe in this for it to work?▼

No belief is required, and none is asked for. Read it the way most people read a natal chart in the West — as a structured description of tendencies you can look at from a distance. It tells you about patterns, not instructions. What you do with it is entirely yours.

Why only $9.9?▼

It is an introductory price, meant to lower the barrier to a tradition most Western readers have never encountered. The chart is cast automatically, so there is no per-reader manual cost. What happens to my birth details?▼

Your birth details are used to cast the chart and nothing else. Aside from the order reference and amount needed to process a payment, they are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with third parties. Readings are deleted from the server after 30 days, and you can clear the local record in your browser at any time.

Will I be able to come back to it?▼

Yes. Every reading gets its own unique link — bookmark it or screenshot it. Readings are kept on the server for 30 days, after which the link stops working.

Do I need Chinese characters for my name?▼

No. Western names are read with the Chaldean letter-value system — the standard numeric-letter tradition used for this kind of numerology — and each letter is also assigned one of the five elements. Chinese-character names can be entered too, and are read through the Kangxi stroke system, the method traditionally used for them.
